How priyashpatil.com handles privacy and basic website analytics.

This is a personal website operated by Priyash Patil. It publishes articles, project information, and links to work elsewhere on the web. It does not offer accounts, purchases, comments, advertising, or user-submitted forms.

What this site does not collect

I do not use this site to collect your name, email address, phone number, payment details, account credentials, or other information that directly identifies you.

The site does not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, cross-site tracking, behavioural profiling, or fingerprinting. I do not sell or share visitor information for advertising or commercial profiling.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare for website delivery, security, and basic Web Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate information such as page views, referring sites, approximate country, device type, browser, operating system, and page-performance measurements.

Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics product:

Cloudflare may process ordinary technical request information as necessary to deliver and protect the site. That processing is governed by Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy .

Email

The site contains mailto: links but no contact form. If you choose to email me, I receive the address and information you include in that message. I use it only to read and respond to your correspondence and retain it only as long as reasonably needed.

Please do not send sensitive personal information by email.

Articles and pages may link to GitHub, employers, documentation, social networks, and other third-party websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices. Visiting an external link is subject to that site’s policies, not this one.

Children’s privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices and rights

You can browse the site without creating an account or providing personal information. Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information I hold about you. Because this site does not maintain visitor profiles, this will normally apply only to information you voluntarily send by email.
